As usual today is Sunday and a day of worship to God in the Christian way.

However, what should be the right motive for going to church today?

Should we serve God because of what he has done for us, what he is doing or what he is about to do?

DO we serve God, so that God won't punish us for not serving him?

DO we serve God because we have somethings to gain from serving him?

DO we serve God because we just want to fulfil a societal or religious obligation?

If religion is what you want then simply settle for whatever your pastor tells you. However, if God is who you truly want, then you will work out the relationship you desire after considering His own terms and mandate. undecided

The word WORSHIP connotes OBEDIENCE to whatever comes out of the mouth of the one you're worshiping so it's not about what to get back but the trust that the one you worship knows best. Isaiah 1:18; 48:17-18 smiley
