Bros, you are right. Football and politics are 5 & 6. Gov. Otti obviously wants to overhaul everything PDP in the State. Enyimba Club/stadium is usually a great platform for campaign in Abia State, they would have campaigned for PDP in the last election.

I remember Kanu as someone who can be very tactical but also emotional. So he really looks like someone who can function as a technical adviser but not head coach.

I remember how he used to go to coaches and point out what he has observed in the game being played and when he is substituted into the game he will exploit those loopholes of the opponent and help to go on to win the game.

Kanu is the new Chairman of Enyimba Fc not Coach, Finidi George is the Coach..

I hope this appointment was made in good faith and not with treachery, mischief and nepotism.

The out going chairman Mr. Felix Anyansiagwu was a trail blazer, achiever, talented& experienced manager....he managed the Eyimba FC so well and his reign came with so much successes.
He kept delivering back to back to back trophies(national& intercontinental) with constant turn out of talented football players. He was undoubtably Nigeria's best club side manger for 2 decades and counting.

We will surely miss him&his expertise.
We the fans of Eyimba truly appreciate him and we say a very BIG thank you to him and his management team for bringing years of football excellence to Eyimba FC.
I am sure the good people of Abia state& Eyimba FC fans will miss him& appreciates him as well and I wish him the best in his future endeavors.

I feel this change of leadership in Eyimba FC by the governor is not right.

However, I hope for the best to come from the new chairman Mr. Kanu Nwankwo(Papillo) who we all know to be a football legend with years of experience at the pinacle of football....I hope Mr. Kanu&his team succeds& does better and takes things to more greater heights at Eyimba FC(by delivery more years of different trophies&talents).
