The point is until we can make world class movies, our actors will not even turn heads at the Cannes  or Hollywood. South Africa does not produce truckload of home videos, but the country has more cinemas than Nigeria, made world class movies and won Oscars. Sharon Stone and Angelina Jolie can tell you that they know Orikinla, the Founder/Festival Director of Eko International Film Festival and the film critic, who wrote one of the best reviews on James Cameron's "Avatar", but they cannot say the same for any Nollywood actor or actress.
I recorded my "Hardway To Broadway" in a recording studio on the Sunset Blvd close to the Hollywood Blvd as far back as 1984 when I was even younger than Whiz Kid and if you go to the Library of Congress, you will find the sheet music.

I agree she's quite a remarkable actress but she kinda inconsistent with her acting at times, and you can argue that it might be the fault of the materials she's working with, nevertheless a great actress performance will show irrespective of how horrible the materials may be,
