FCT is no more than any state. It is just the seat of governance and therefore should NOT in anyway be used as a yardstick to determine who wins the presidential election.
The constitution is very clear...
"Highest number of votes and at least 2/3 of the states of the federation" (with or without the FCT).

That part of the constitution is unambiguous. Where in the world have you seen that someone has to have 25% of the votes in the Federal Territory to be declared winner?

I think it is better you read the address that Tinubu's lawyer made to the Tribunal which is his arguments before the court. What the lawyer did was the right thing to do. Tinubu was not the judge and he was not instructing the justices. His lawyer was making a plea before the Court why they must rule in favour of Tinubu. I believe that helps
