Are you mad? Are those two states the only states workers transport themselves to work? You must be high.... You all bargained for it, face your adversity head-on

proeast:
Disturbing news just emerged that fuel price has increased again to 618 per litre. The worst is that this price is what NNPC is selling! Independent marketers usually sell higher.

How are Nigerians, particularly workers on fixed salary going to survive? Before now, some workers in Lagos and Abuja often spend as much as 3,000 to 4,000 daily on transportation. It's even pathetic to note that these workers mostly earn less than 100,000 monthly.

If you're a worker in Lagos or Abuja, or other Nigerian cities, how are you surviving?

Something needs to be done urgently either by those in authority or those at the receiving end. Obviously, we can't continue like this!!

The price of fuel will continue to depend on the global oil price and so long as naira keep losing value relative to dollar, price of fuel will keep increasing.

In 2011, PDP won because the opposition was divided. Back then, telling opposition supporters that got you a lot of abuse.

Be prepared for abuse now.

I did not like PDP, but APC had made a mess of things. It was obvious that most Nigerians wanted APC out in 2023, and all that was needed was everyone working together to get them out.

The obidient movement spoilt a lot of that. PDP got gutted, like ANPP did in 2011, and APC cruised to victory.

Even then, if PDP had won, Atiku was still saying subsidy had to go. At the end, the subsidy thing is not about politics.

Atiku also promised to increase the suffering of the masses by removing subsidy and floating Naira. Only Sowore was pro subsidy.

Some ignorant followers are quick to quote Obi and Atiku about fuel subsidy removal, but they they disclose the modalities for removing fuel subsidy? The answer is No!

Removing Subsidy is not the problem but what is the Govt doing to cushion the effect?

Judging from what is on ground thus far, APC has failed Nigerians again.... Corruption will always beget corruption...

We have money, we are hustlers. Workers on fixed salary are the worst hit. Business people will just increase price
Nigeria economy is now driven by Fuel amd dollar. Once fuel price goes up. Everybody sees it as a tip to increase all their prices too. But once fuel amd dollar comes down, the prices remains the same.

Example if fuel increases by 10 percent from 30naora to 33naira, price of goods will increase by 50percent from 30naira to 45naira.

If the same fuel sold at 33naira now falls down to 25naira, the same price of goods will not amd still remain at 45naira.

Now if fuel at 25naira increase to 30naira again after sometime, price of goods will increase by 50% also 78naira.. I blame Nigeria government for not regulating the market allowing their citizens to suffer in the hands of traders amd union

By all indications Nigerians now believed
That Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the last good thing that happened to this country what we are reaping now is the fruit of religion and
tribal hatred that's being organized by some people that believed that they owned this great country and not God

The Nigerian Labour Congress needs to shut down the nation.

The best that can be done by His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) is to increase the minimum wage.

Anything short of that is invalid!

There are approximately 720,000 federal civil servants in Nigeria.

This is less than 0.4% of our population.

Even if we say a majority of this figure represents pillars of households in Nigeria, and then we factor in the households, it still wouldn't account for 10% of the population.

What happens to the magnitude rest? We should all eat grass, abi?

“ Disturbing news just…”.
What’s disturbing about the news? What you ask for is what you get. You asked for APC. You asked for Buhari. You asked for BAT. You did not remember that APC put the country in misery for 8 years. You asked for further years of misery, thinking that it would favour you.

If you have not joined the trekkers association of Nigeria (TAN), please register quickly. If you were trekking from Ozumba Mbadiwe to Lekki toll gate before now, note that you will find yourself trekking from Lekki toll gate to Oworonshoki. Now your 8K monthly for six months has become more worthless.

If APC no finish Nigeria, una no go get sense.
