It is with great sadness we write to sympathize with the family of Late Chief David Edebiri, who passed away on the 20th of July 2023, after a brief illness.

The Odionwere of Benin, as he was fondly called was an intellectual who shared an unflinching interest in politics and governance of the Nigerian Nation. His advocacy for good governance, accountability and transparency will not be forgotten in a hurry.

The Esogban of Benin Kingdom was a vocal voice in the traditional institution, respected for his wealth of experience in the tradition and culture of the kingdom.
