Normally, all Nigerian politicians (both present and past) deserves three terms;
1 in office
1 in jail
1 in hell.

As I'm typing this, some bunch of idiots are busy trying to break Ibori records, you guys will not end well. Foolish leaders..

With his previous convictions in tye UK, he should never have been Governor

The man just turned Delta State money into his personal treasury and stole them blind

His boys such as Ayiri Emami became over night billionaires and still hold sway in Delta state
that's is true, it was rumour that ibori used ayiri to launder money

Don't forget that Ibori employed Peter Obi as a lecturer in his university and Obi accepted the job.

Deltans elected a petty thief grin grin grin Nigerians no just get sense. Always electing the worst of the worst criminals and drug addicts. Later you people will complain about visa denials.

Please respect the people of Delta. All over Nigeria, there was nothing like election during the 1999 era. It was just election ballot box snatching and all. In Edo State, I can tell you for a fact that it took 5 persons to win an election. None of them was voted for. That was why someone like the late SAN Ganifawemi lost his election and he couldn't recover the mandate through the court even though we know he was a good lawyer. To start saying Deltans voted for Ibori is a fallacy of the highest order. That been said, compared to other governors in Nigeria, Ibori tried for his people as a governor.

There are many who have done worse than Ibori and are still political godfathers in Nigerian politics. Many of them are elected and re-elected as Governors, senators and Lawmakers. The Ibori's case will not make them repent. It will only make them become more smarter and more corrupt.

Nigerians are the one making them more corrupt because they promote them by voting for them

Hypocrisy. What's with the consistency. Place the same spotlight on Tinubu and Fashola digging boreholes at 120 Million Naira

Idiots like you love and defend your oppressors, tueh!

Does Umaro Diko's stealing make Obori less of a criminal??

Or does it make other criminal politicians that stole less saint??

Country will never get it right with idiots like you in it.

I was with you until you mentioned Gani Fawehimni.

Gani...who I respect, and who I think was a great Nigerian, ...lost the 2003 election because he was a newspaper candidate. Someone that did not even go round the country...even people like late Dim Ojukwu were all over the country, and was only known on newspapers, and his party has no branch at all in any part of the country....cannot even have a chance of winning any election.

Big parties win because they are all over the place and people know who they are and also know someone who is a member. Yes, rigging, but most places, voting does happen, and people vote for PDP and now APC.

$15 MILLION BRIBE
Then EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu alleged that Ibori had offered him $15 million in cash in April 2007 to drop the investigation. Ribadu said he pretended to accept but instead deposited the cash at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

I hope Ribadu will still stand by this claim now that their mutual friend is president.
Don't be surprise Ibori will still habor a grudge. Ribadu's testimony contributed to what sent Ibori to prison, I don't think he will forget that in a hurry.

Once a thief

Always a thief

This same Igoori was retry in an Abuja's high court that time

But he used African magic to suppress the case

Now because of our weakened institutions

Nigerian are being sentenced all over the world

Up to our former DSP criminals everyday.

Let's assume that you're correct, what is wrong in being a lecturer and earning an honest living? Should all the good lecturers across Nigeria resign because of government institutionalized corruption?
