How much is yam in Canada?

I just bought this yam for $10. Aka N6,000.

Well, they don't grow yam in Canada.

I paid N3k recently for two old yams, even here in Nigeria.
That's expensive, considering the fact that yams are grown here.

I'd rather pay 6k for a tuber of yam in Canada, than pay 3k for two tubers in Nigeria.

This Yam is about £4 in London which is roughly #5000 in Nigeria

Yup, the UK is cheaper than Canada and much easier of an adaptation for a Nigerian.

The average Nigerian is an economic illiterate. It is a nationwide issue. You should've known this by now.

But Canada's minimum wage is about $16 an hour meaning that in 40 minutes someone can earn the price of this yam.
Yam in Nigeria is about N1500.
How many people make N1500 every 40 minutes?

In Nigeria it is 3k, so factor in packaging, shipping and clearing costs plus profit. $10 is about right

You are working in Canada, earning in Canadian dollar but you want to be buying commodities in naira equivalent.Shebi it's cheaper here,please relocate back to Nigeria ASAP.
