So only those outside of APC, despite being rich men or rich politicians, have the exclusive privilege to clamour for the right of the poor to breath?

Was Akpabio and the multi-party Senate's clamour not for a positive directive to prevent the poor from excessive billing by the power distribution companies?

Akpabio and the Senate should be lauded as heroes.

The opposition parties should recall their own members who also confirmed their voice vote for the resolution that the poor must be allowed to breathe.

Very useless matter that shows how unserious and ungrateful we are as citizens.

We just want to be lamenting and criticizing aimlessly rather than even see any progress made by government.

I think the OP is only interested the scenario to suit its apologistic tendency forgetting that the senate has what it's called parliamentary immunity.
The scenario was a prayer raised by a senator, as a SP you need to put to the floor for adoption or rejection. The floor adopted the prayer, how then is Akpabio Fault?

Which whirlwind? Nigerians pretend to be full of fury. Yet we signify nothing but emptiness.

How many times in just the last ten years, has the whirlwind presented itself to you Nigerians for you to use it and unleash venom on the criminal ruling class? What did you guys do each time? Turned your back on the whirlwind and it dissipated. The whirlwind can only be the weapon of choice for Karma if there are those who are actively waiting to wield it despite any potential consequence.

I never born pickin. Mama dey for house. I never buy moto. I never marry. My pickin still dey young.

Lol. What a society of contradictions.

People are making a mountain out of a molehill.

Did the House not show compassion to the poor by not increasing power tariff? If they had done otherwise, the inquisition he is going through today would make sense.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is kind.

Well, that's a true representation of all Nigerians. We joke with everything. But I will advise the public not to take that matter any serious. The corruption we're talking about today started from all of u at home. From POS operators to petrol station operators to all other marketers, we're very insensitive, heartless and corrupt. So, "LET THE POOR BREATHE" joke is in line with Nigerian attitudes.
Nigerians just like to make a mountain out of a molehill. Or dont we use that slang-phrase here online? Don't the senator's go online to see that? Are they not also Nigerians?
The earlier Nigerians realise that their destiny doesn't lie 40% in the economy of a nation, they'll help themselves. Or dnt groundnut seller's grow in biz to build houses.
Gvt policies mostly affect ur JOB, not ur WORK.
An average Nigerian will do worse, if given authority to rule.
However, God bless our dear country NIGERIA.
