May 2015

IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, announces on Radio Biafra that people in the SE/SS area should come out en mass on 30th of May of that year to celebrate Biafra day. People comply and troop out in Biafran colours only for some to be shot and killed in places like
headbridge Onitsha, Asaba and Aba by the combined forces of the Nigerian Army and Police

May 2016

By now, Nnamdi Kanu is locked up in Kuje prison. Deputy IPOB leader, Uche Mefor, announces that Biafrans should come out to celebrate Biafran day on May 30th. Again people massively come out in Biafran colours. This time, the killing of unarmed peaceful Biafran agitators is on a larger scale than the previous year. Unarmed peaceful Biafran protesters are shot and killed at St Edmunds Church Onitsha, cable point Asaba, Ikoku Portharcourt and Faulks Road Aba etc by the Nigerian Army and Police

May 2017

Having seen how Biafrans were needlessly murdered by the security forces the two previous years, Nnamdi Kanu orders that on May 30th 2017, rather than go out and get killed, everyone should sit at home in an act of civil disobedience

In an act never seen before in Nigeria, the entire South East and parts of the South South, are completely shut down

And that is how sit at home started

Immediately Nnamdi kanu was kidnapped by the Nigerian corrupt government IPOB autopilot was activated.

IPOB is not a family business. Those who think they can stop sit-at-home while Nnamdi kanu is still in captivity must be dilutional.

For ur own good stay clear.

Bewarned!

I remember that May 2017 sit at home. The lockdown was massive.

The Nigeria army were roaring around the street looking for who to shoot but no one came out. The next day normal activities resumed as if nothing happened the previous day; the army retrieved...

Mind you that day wasn't Monday but the sit at home was massive, total and observed by all

Don't be mischievous.

It all started when Igbos was busy insulting everyone, pelting stones at the security officers while infringing on other Nigerian's right.

People cant advise you people about something, refused to listen and be expecting empathy/sympathy afterwards

It'll end when Nnamdi Kanu is released.

Even our religious leaders preach it on Sundays

Oponu hush your mouth if you didn't know how it started.

What the op said is emphatically how it started. But your sorry self and Your type just realized it when it lasted for more than 1yr.

Those years, sit at home was once in a year.

But now due to unlawful incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu it became a status quo to send message to Nigeria and more especially to the world at large
