The only reason France and the west are dragging ECOWAS into this is because Niger is the last of the Middle Africa that is so poor with lot of resources they want to continue to plunder, Niger rich in uranium , France has plundered that country to the teeth, France is like the 4th country with highest gold reserve yet it doesn’t have gold under its soil, so many things the west doesn’t have but they have gotten from this Middle Africa countries, the willful idiots political class in those country enrich themselves while the masses suffer, now that region has 5 military heads of state, if ECOWAS go to war against Niger, do you think the like minds of Niger will sit and watch, it’s going to be a full blown war that will further take Africa aback and out only hope will be to seek the help of those who has plundered us, Africa will witness Syria like stuff, humanitarian crisis, famine etc. ECOWAS better be wise

If I am in his shoes I will chose diplomacy. Even North Nigeria expecially Bubu will not like military action in Niger Republic lead by Nigeria. They will see it as a fight against them.
