So if the yellow buses are reducing their prices, would the government sell them fuel at cheaper rates?

Abi does yellow buses not mean danfo again? Is there a place he wants to be selling fuel to them at reduced price?

I wonder how many of those who commented before you didn't reason that way

baba read before u comment. He said 25% reduction on yellow buses

You too should learn to think before you write

How will bus fares which are determined by private individuals be reduced by 25% when fuel prices have increased by almost 400%?

If you are a bus owner and you are asked to slash bus fares by 25%, will you comply unless someone will pay for the balance?

The question is HOW

Do you think the governor is a fool and won't have an agreement (settlements) with the drivers? Common let's be civil here.

In the history of Lagos bus transportation, where have you heard of announcement of bus fares by bus unions? Who is going to fund the 25% loss in income for the bus drivers?

The only possibility I can think of is if owo mi da money (union/agbero daily tickets) are cut but do they account for up to 25% of bus fares?

Which business in Lagos can afford to take a 25% pay cut when inflation is now over 20% officially and closer to 50% with an almost 400% increase in fuel price since June? Let's be honest here. Who is going to compensate the drivers for this alleged price reduction for this to be implemented? Or is it a temporary measure to avoid the labour strike?

Don't Sanwo olu thinks reducing bus fares will compel people to giving up on the trekking commission they've embarked on and return to entering vehicles thereby returning traffic back on Lagos roads??

We can't have a Nigeria with able bodied people who are agile and are too lazy to trek angry

Will the danfos and private commercial buses and cars listen to him or will he subsidize the fuel they're buying?.
Currently how many fully functional BRT buses are on the roads?

The government is now telling you that driving a car is now a luxury and if you can afford it then go ahead and continue using it,but if not use subsidize bus.As for electricity,it govt duty to provide for it's citizens which I believe should be their next agenda.
Akujuriobi:
They are really playing with the sensibility of Nigerians, you announced reduction without telling the people how long the reduction will last, what happened to danfo, yellow buses owned by the private individuals, okada, Keke and suffering of the private car owners, fueling of generators? Pls this another step to deceive the masses. Let me go and sleep jare.
