Does it mean that the family that took the corpse don't know or can't recognize their dead relative?

I first thought it was a case of mysterious disappearance.

But what could have promted them to mistake her corpse for that of another, couldn't the other people recognize she's not their family member's body before taking her home to Bury?

This is not adding up to me even though its a possibility.

They mortuary should pay for negligence and damage.
It's really possible to switch corpses. the mortuary uses formaldehyde to embalm the dead and this shrinks and denatures the person. even a fair person will become black. You can hardly identify a person
