Poor school you went to is a disaster...

Name the natural resources that is giving Nigeria up to 80% of its revenue currently..

So you understand that NNPC is the one selling the crude in OPEC and paying same into CBN federation account.. Laugh

By the way, can your tax pay both federal and state workers salary for one month, and still have more for construction of roads and bridges.. Werey

Agriculture and a lot of other sectors generate the majority of our revenue. Crude oil is only responsible for about 15% of that revenue.

What crude oil does is generate I think over 80-90 percent of our revenue we get from exportation.

Point of correction. Yorubas didn't settle in Benin republic but have ancestral extension in Benin republic, Togo, Cote D'Ivoire, and some Part of Old Ghana. Yoruba empire extends widely within the West Africa peripheral. Mind you, when I say ancestral extension, I mean a bonafide, legitimate owner, natural born citizens and not a migrant or tourist but native of all those ancestral lands. (OMOLUABI DESCENDANTS OF ODUDUWA)
Yorubas and the Hausas and Fulani are the only tribe in Nigeria that has no limited boundary or confinement to the entirety call Nigeria. Hausas And Fulanis have ancestral extension in Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Senegal, Gambia Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, Sudan, Ethiopia etc, The other extension of Yorubas in diaspora, rooted inhabitants, natural citizens in diaspora are made through slave trading in the 15th Century. The Yorubas of Cuban, Brazil, Dominican republic, United States. These are natural born Yorubas, born due to slavery but fortunately were able to retain their African and Yoruba nativity......
Yorubas are really widespread all over the world and that makes me to recollect the clamor of the world literary society to accommodate a study of the Yoruba language and Culture in its entirety in some of the renowned Universities.
Yorubas ain't limited to Africa alone despite the fact that the Cradle of Yorubas is in Ife, Osun State but spread wide and near.

I've been telling people here for years that we are not spending oil money but people chose to ignore it. The money Nigeria runs on has 60% of it coming from 2 Yoruba states(Lagos & Ogun)alone this was confirmed by the former finance minister Kemi Adeosun. The oil angle in the economy has been a scam.

Imagine oo. The money 'saved' from subsidy withdrawal is what the Senior Agbado man want to use to wage war. When will they start using the money to develop Niger Delta? Do they know how much it cost to buy:

- Tank
- APC
- MRAPs
- Guns
- Artillery piece
- Grad Rockets
= Drones
- Bullets
- Bullet proof vests

We don't produce any of these. We have to pay other countries to buy them so that we can go and use them to kill productive people. That is what war meant - waste money to kill. It doesn't develop a land!

Is is bad idea to spend these oil money developing Imo, Delta or Akwa Ibom State as an alternative melting pot to Lagos State? When?

Every opportunity NIgeria have is to waste oil money.

No one hates Tinubu but we cannot sit by and watch him plunge Nigeria into a senseless proxy war.
How are we sure he will want to fight war? I don't trust Apc, they use propaganda to test the waters, like, the opinion of Nigerians, he also wants to look to the west like he is very active.

Hence why we are plunged into these miserable debts...
It is the borrowing that is still keeping Nigeria, so the west need Nigeria to go to this war so that they can come and borrow more and be slaves to them.

Aren't we suppose to have sense by now.

The people are talking about war and implications in Niger.

Nigerian politicians are eyeing the war funds from EU to loot while they send hapless eggheads to die unnecessarily in Niger.

When Nigerian politicians show interest in any cause, just follow the money. Therein is the motive.

There's not going to be any war from president Tinubu in Niger because there's no reason for it. There are things that are more effective than war.

Why won’t Benin πŸ‡§πŸ‡― support ECOWAS?

Isn’t that why the urine-dispensing senile idiot went to their Independence Day celebration with a whole 6 governors to go and beg Beninoise President to help save him from further embarrassment by aligning with whatever he decides as ECOWAS chair?

But even at that, the Beninoise Foreign Affairs Minister is insisting that his country prefers a diplomatic solution (what sane Nigerians have been shouting for) over the brutish and foolish invasion of Niger as proposed by Ebola all in the name to impress the West and buy legitimacy.

Oh Mother Nigeria! How thou hast been ridiculed by a urine-dispensing criminal who insisted on grabbing power!

Well said.

Aside from the Yorubas and Hausas that are indigenous to Nigeria and other West African countries with ancestral homelands there, the Baribas of Kwara State, the Kanuris and Ejegbams (Ekoi) are also indigenous to Benin, Chad, and Cameroon.

The Ewes of Togo are also indigenous to Eastern Ghana. The European colonists did a very bad job separating these same ethnic groups into different countries tbh.

The advantage here though is that many Yoruba folks of West Africa speak fluent French and English languages and can easily get top international jobs and United Nations jobs that require you to be multilingual.
