One teacher in a school each but they have Mosques all over the street and each Mosques will have about 10 alfas and 5 imams..

In my own village primary school there is only one teacher for over 9 years now, teaching all the subjects and managing over 40 pupils in each class.
Please the UNITED NATION AND THE UNICEF together with the state government should come to the rescue of education in Bauchi state.

Religion is the bane of Northerners being educationally disadvantaged.

Past and present Northern governors with exception of El-Rufai never made any impact in improving the standard of education in Core North. They were all guilty of placing religion and Islamic studies ahead of formal and proper education of their citizens. Sad
