Sometimes the leader has to make difficult decision for national interest. If nothing is done that is Nigeria in few years......and all west african countries....back to square one.

Nigeria has expressed desire to compete with Russia in gas export to the EU. Russia is securing countries to disrupt the pipeline.....so technically this is another West vs Russia battle front. Unfortunately African countries have to choose a side.

If Niger junta is defeated Burkinafaso and Mali junta wil be on borrowed times.....so they are reasonably jittery, speaking toomuch and doing aggressive PR of how good their actor soldiers are.
