Here's a detailed breakdown of what to do:

Shift: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

8:00 am - 8:30 am: Initial Assessment and Planning

1. Introduce yourself to the patient and explain your role and purpose for the shift.
2. Review medical history and recent progress notes.
3. Perform a thorough respiratory assessment: Check respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, lung sounds, heart rate, blood pressure, and level of consciousness.
4. Review current oxygen therapy and any respiratory treatments prescribed.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to understand current treatment plan.

8:30 am - 9:30 am: Medications and Respiratory Treatments

1. Administer prescribed medications, including bronchodilators and other respiratory medications.
2. Monitor response to medications and assess for any adverse effects.
3. Provide nebulizer treatments as needed to help open airways.
