Did you know your belief about your children not just influences your parenting but also who they become?

Yea! You didn't know that, did you?

Rising above comparison is a lesson for kids to learn. An even harder lesson to learn, is for parents not to even compare.

Truth is, as adults, we often compare not because we want to be the best, but because we don’t want to fall behind.

As unhealthy as this mindset is, it is even more devastating when we try to impose our fears and sometimes unrealistic expectations on our kids.

As mothers, we are always grasping at straws to see if we are doing the right thing. And to have some clue as to whether we're “mothering” correctly

We love our kids.

Any self-respecting parent just wants what is best for them. But in our desire to push them, we have to realize when it becomes harmful.

Children have diverse passions and they move at different paces. We know our kids best and we have to distinguish the fine line between when to push and when to back off.

Dear Mamma,

If you can't help but compare.

How about compare your kid's last milestone to where he's presently at, as opposed to his sibling, friends and neighbors.
