NFF is one of the most corrupt agency in Nigeria. It is as if they are not under the supervision of any ministry
Not as if, they are not under any supervision. No one can summon, investigate or query them.
To clean the NFF, we will eventually have to go against the rule of no govt interference.
I don't even know how those people get to that post

That's what annoys me the most. They have a lot of products/brands that they can leverage on, but they are always relying on government or FIFA money.
Exactly, whatever FIFA is given them should be an addendum

Hope they don't disappoint
Who won't disappoint?
You mean a disappointment should not show its skill.
I trust our politicians better than NFF.
If our politicians promise you a road, they will deliver, either they give substandard road or uncompleted road, whereas, if nff promise you same, they won't do it, and you will hear stuffs like, we can't do it, come and beat us.

But las las, NFF, NNPC and NDDC are filthy corrupt.
During the days of Taiwo Ogunjobi and Ibrahim Galadima, cash of about 100k dollar disappeared from the Glass House, no one knows the details till date

St. Police pray for us. Now, the police will be smiling happily cos they are now "saints" in view of this recent revelation which reinforces the sad fact that the average countryman is corrupt and only looking for an opportunity to showcase the shameful talent, the NFF should pay our girls the money owed to them, they have made us proud, corruption is indeed a canker worm that has eaten into the deepest fabric of our nationhood.

The Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum, spoke about this issue on July 29th.

The money that is being owed the Falcons are bonuses from Nations Cup qualifiers against Ghana and the Ivory Coast and some friendly matches, all of which were played in 2021.

The Falcons went on strike during the Nations Cup in 2022. The NFF had to fly in part of the money that they were being owed at the Nations Cup before they called off the strike.

The NFF then organised a clear the air meeting and it encouraged the players to speak freely. Tochukwu Oluehi, the Falcons former number 1 goalkeeper and current number 2 keeper, said that the NFF has always been owing them and making promises that they never keep. She said that she has been in the national team set up for 15 years (from Under 17 level) and every time the NFF promises to pay them, but always ends up owing. She said that she's not getting younger and she has people that depend on her, so she needs this money.

NFF officials got angry because she spoke out and they told the coach to drop her. They said the coach must pick a young home based goalkeeper instead. The coach initially agreed to take a look at the young home based goalkeeper. However, NFF did not hold the camp in Nigeria that they had promised to have before the World Cup, so he never got to see the young goalkeeper play. The coach then told the NFF that he cannot take a goalkeeper that he has never seen to the World Cup. He said that his contract states that he picks the players and therefore he is taking Tochukwu Oluehi to the World Cup. The NFF then said that he cannot take his assistant to the World Cup.

The assistant coach of the Falcons, Lauren Gregg, was the assistant coach of the United States National Team when they won the World Cup. She is Randy Waldrum's mentor, adviser and she is one of the most respected football coaches in the US. The NFF told the coach that he could not take his assistant to the World Cup because he refused to drop Tochukwu Oluehi. They wanted him to drop Tochukwu Oluehi because she complained that the NFF was owing them.

Hear Coach Randy Waldrum's interview. https://open.spotify.com/episode/5GvvKONxOzQDEPN25ynmex

After listening to the coach Randy interview, I have to say its a miracle that the Falcons even got into the knock out stages of the world cup. The Nff as usual succeeded in bungling all the programs of the coach for the world cup.

Because of NFF corrupt practices and funds diversion, FIFA decided to pay players their earnings directly for the first time.

NFF is a disgrace to world football.

They are not under any supervision, fifa rules that football federation should be independent 0f government intervention, they almost banned Nigeria years back on this matter , the g0vt nor the ministry can even select the nff chairman ,that's why the misbehave and its difficult for the ministry to do anything.

"Pay Them": Super Eagles Stars Osimhen, Ighalo & Others Put Pressure On NFF To Settle Super Falcons

Some Nigerian national team players have joined their female counterparts in urging the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to compensate the Super Falcons for their remarkable achievements in the Women's World Cup.

In a statement on Tuesday, FIFPro confirmed that it received complaints from the players over their outstanding monies with the federation.
The NFF insisted that it would pay the players what they and FIFA promised them, adding that they would be paid for the friendly matches and qualifying matches they were owed, appearance fees and bonuses once FIFA paid the World Cup money.

"Pay them NFF," wrote Osimhem in response to a post by Asisat Oshoala on Instagram.
