JUST IN: The Nigerian delegation led by the 14th Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi II, had a closed-door meeting with General Tchani, head of the Military Junta in Niger, to discuss the way forward in Niger.

Huge great respect 💪 to Emir Sanusi

Shows how much respect he carries in Sahel region of Africa

These Niger military junta refused to see Former President Abdul Salam Abubakar and the Sultan of Sokoto
They refused to see Ecowas delegates and the US assistant Secretary of State

Very big respect to Emir Sanusi

Hoping peace will return to our region, because war does no one any good

The disrespect was really to ECOWAS and not the personalities of the Sultan or Abdulsalam per se. I don’t blame them because the war threats and ultimatum as a first resort, was unnecessary. The wisdom of the northern intelligentsia led by Emir Sanusi, amidst the crippling sanctions prevailed.

Amen to your prayers for peace in our region.

Ok I was shocked they disrespected Sultan and former President Abubakar
So it was because of Ecowas and the threat

Yes we don't want any war on African soil especially within our region West Africa

Because the menace of Russia, it's war forces Wagner will be too much for our region
Come add menace of terrorist in the North and IPOB in the East

War will completely mess Nigeria up
The menace will be too much

So this regards for Emir Sanusi is very good

Peace will return

Like my lecturer used to say that political stability brings Economic stability

Once there is Peace
Economy will be better handled
And every Nigerian will enjoy be it from East West North South

Everyone will benefit

Hausa country.

They willingly accepted to meet emir of kano, kano being an ancient hausa city state since 14th century.
But they won’t meet deputy USA Secretary of State or sultan of sokoto because the former is oyibo and sultan is not hausa but fulanigrin

Hausa man to Hausa man thingsgrin
You can as well send the Obi of Onitsha, since you have problem with the manner you think the meeting is a tribal thing

Sanusi is already greater than Sultan cheesy cheesy

By the way, why is he putting on his Royal garment? He's no longer an Emir and shouldnt act like one
You know a little about Sanusi Lamido. He is the Khalifa of the Tijaniyyah Sufi order of Nigeria
The Tijaniyyah Sufi order is one of the largest Sufi orders in Nigeria, with over 30 million adherents
Sanusi Lamido is a prominent traditional and religious figure in West Africa, and he has a politico-spiritual authority over the Tijaniyyah Sufi order. As such he can appear in the regalia if not as Emir but as The Khalifa

Send in Peter Obi next. We wanna see something 😂

Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, the 14th Emir of Kano, recently held discussions with the leaders of the coup in Niger.

The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) engaged with military leaders subsequent to the junta's cancellation of a meeting with delegates from the African Union (AU), the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and a prominent US diplomat. Myjdfaccount Payment

How does bringing war to Africa benefit Putin?

Distraction. Just the same way the war in Ukraine stopped the coronavirus.

Same way will a war in Africa for resources take the hit off him a little.

There are different kinda peeps on here, some have Body by Fisher, brains by Mattel while others had blocked one too many hockey pucks with their heads.

But the beauty of Nairaland is: Everybody is equal.

It doesn't matter if one is a Brain transplant donor, Cheezwiz for brains, Cranio-rectally inverted or couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel- We'rall got the license to type the shitts going on in our minds.

I like nonsense tho, it wakes up the brain cells.

Na only one thing go vex me about you.
And that's if and only if this talent of yours is restricted to this forum alone.
If you ain't into music, you should be into spoken word poetry. Or be a professional writer either in fiction or screen-writing.
I just hope you're into it or finding your path in any of these directions.
