Here's an overview to help you get started:

1. **Market Research:** Understand the cybersecurity landscape in Nigeria. Identify the demand for cybersecurity services, potential competitors, and target clients.

2. **Business Plan:** Create a detailed business plan outlining your company's goals, services, target market, pricing, marketing strategy, and financial projections.

3**Services:** Define the range of cybersecurity services you'll offer. This could include penetration testing, security assessments, consulting, training, and incident response.
###Im assuming you've a grounding in cybersec. At least, you must have passed your CISMP or equivalent.
Also visit TryHackMe & play around.
If you havent any grounding in cybersec, forget it. Or how else will you know which cybersec you are offering your potential clients? Pentesting (ethical hacking)? Vulnerability scanning? Soc analyst? Etc

4. **Legal Requirements:** Register your business with the appropriate government authorities, obtain any necessary licenses or permits, and comply with taxation regulations.

5. **Company Structure:** Decide on your business structure (e.g., sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company) and register accordingly. This will impact your liability and taxes.

6. **Location and Office Setup:** Choose a suitable location for your office. Ensure it meets your operational needs and is accessible to clients and employees.
###Could be remote too. But work it all out before starting at all.

7. **Skilled Workforce:** Hire skilled professionals with expertise in cybersecurity, including ethical hackers, security analysts, and consultants.

8. **Technology and Tools:** Invest in the necessary technology, software, and tools required for providing cybersecurity services.

9. **Marketing and Branding:** Develop a strong brand identity and create a marketing strategy to reach your target audience. This could include building a professional website, using social media, and attending relevant industry events.

10. **Client Relationships:** Build and maintain relationships with clients by delivering high-quality services and excellent customer support.
####cant overemphasise customer support. It can make or break your company.

11. **Partnerships:** Consider partnering with other businesses, such as IT companies, to expand your service offerings and reach a wider audience.

12. **Compliance and Regulations:** Stay updated on cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards in Nigeria to ensure your services meet legal requirements.
###and international laws too as many companies worth working with have international partners. And laws of those lands must be understood and up to date with too!

13. **Cyber Insurance:** Consider obtaining cyber liability insurance to protect your business and clients in case of data breaches or other cyber incidents.
###you must be ready for this as hackers get more sophisticated and more desperate daily. This one, ehn?

14. **Continuous Learning:** Cybersecurity is a rapidly evolving field. Encourage ongoing professional development for your team to stay up-to-date with the latest threats and trends.
###this one alone ehn, will keep you permanently on your toes with sleepless nights. Threats, vulnerabilities, etc are so many. Those are the identified ones alone and then there are the ones we call Zero-day attacks. These are fresh from the bakery. Daily, hot, fresh. Lol.

Good luck!❤
