I guess Dele Alake is put in the position to checkmate the tendencies of the Northern royals and oligarchy in mining solid minerals for personal gains rather than for the coffers of the government. The South-South cannot be producing oil for national coffers while the North hoard solid minerals for a selected few.

Although, the practice is no longer exclusive to the North. We have also witnessed this in the South West.

All this nonsense no concern us, we are fully focusing on the judiciary.

All these will give you a clue on what he's expected to achieve in that ministry, and the future of Nigeria.

A good administrator will make a good minister.

These ministries already have career technocrats ...as a minister, you are there to coordinate the activities of these Ministeries.

I believe if you are a good administrator, you will function effectively well.

Most of the appointments are the usual Political settlements rather than meritocracy.

I honestly thought and hoped Tinubu would do better than his predecessors... Shame.

He has been sidelined by the power that be (cabal), they want to reduce his influence by distance him away from the president and by extension corridor of power.

As a minister of information, he would be following president to everywhere and be seeing frequently, but as solid mineral, he is expected to be on the Field, looking for what is not lost underneath the ground and far away from seat of power.

Dnt forget president needs people in the ministry that would supervise the professionals in the ministry and not them dribble the govt, by subjecting them to govt policies.

If u put a complete neophyte that he knows next to nothing to man such ministry.

Just know that the professionals would bring govt to his knee in that ministry.
