Good innovation.
To make it more cheaper.
Africa must start to produce lithium batteries n stop exporting our lithium only for us to buy the batteries at exorbitant prices..
We produce batteries and export to other parts of the world.
Plus the bike should also be manufactured locally not assembled locally...
U go just dy open mouth because u can talk, do u have the technology to process lithium,? Do u have the tech to produce lithium battery?

Corruption is a very very bad thing, I struggle to imagine the political bottlenecks this innovation would face in Nigeria.

We still have a very long way to catch up with our Eastern and Northern Brothers'.
... even in nigeria where do we have constant 24 hours everyday electricity to be charging the battery... what nigerian politicians know is to be sharing money among themselves and looting money

This kind of innovation is only feasible in a country with steady power supply.

Solar power supply is highly inefficient during raining season.

But that's what both Mustapha Gajibo in Borno and this Kenyan programme are using. Mustapha Gajibo has been providing the service in Borno for years.

Do you know more than companies that are actually doing it??

Solar power supply is not readily available through out the year. In raining season, Solar panels output poor energy.

Reapeating the same thing over and over will not change the fact that companies like Mustapha Gajibo's in Borno and Roam in Kenya are providing solar powered public transportation and both drivers and passengers prefer it.

They cannot completely rely on their solar system to meet high demand. I'm certain that they complement their energy need with the grid supply.
Solar panel designers are yet to create panel that perform better under the worst weather conditions.

This is a game changer!
Fuel consume the most money in Okada.
I hope somedays, the battery would be self recharging as it's being used or whenever the engine is not running.

Yeah, that's why Governor Dapo Abiodun went there to see how it's operating. An Indian company has started installing electric motors in motorcycles in Ogun State. Dapo Abiodun was invited to Benin Republic for their anniversary and the company invited him to check out their operation there.
