Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, made this known when he gave a breakdown of casualties in the ambush of troops in Niger State and an evacuation helicopter that crashed on August 14, 2023.

The breakdown was given at the biweekly briefing of the Defence Media Operations.

When asked about the cause of the helicopter crash, he restated that an investigation is still underway to determine the cause and urged citizens to be wary of propaganda by terrorists and remain patriotic.

Insurgents had ambushed troops in the Zungeru area of the state and some gallant troops of the Nigerian Army paid the supreme price.

Also, a Nigerian Air Force MI-171 Helicopter on a casualty evacuation mission crashed on Monday in the Shiroro Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

Note : This is not a new incident. This is an update on the previous incident.

Who would have thought Nato bombing of Libya and subsequent execution of gaddafi would cause severe violence across Nigeria .
Now some hyper patriots want war with niger as if war is a joke and they can enjoy watching on CNN .

Expect double the amount of weapons to flow into Nigeria and along with present economic conditions expect atleast trible the crime and terrorism.

America is the biggest snake in the world ,the only two wars it fought on its soil in its entire history is in 1848 vs Mexico and 1812 vs Britain.
They create conditions for war based on funny reasons and fight wars along with their allies by invasion and midway through the conflict abandon the fight and go home along with their allies like in Afghanistan,Vietnam,Iraq,Libya,Serbia etc

Second strategy of these people is to find a stupid leader who is willing to fight the battle for them and indirectly they will support with money and weapons like Iraq ( Saddam Hussein) vs Iran and Ukraine vs Russia .

It's seems Niger for them is very important and they decided on strategy 2 .
