I find Nigerian Pidgin English very interesting when spoken and listened to, but reading it is like reading Greek, hence the essence of standardisation. I think it would do us all a lot of good if we can stick to standard English spelling when typing in 'Pidgin' . It makes reading pidgin stories, notes, comments and any rejoinders more understandable and easy on the eye. That should be one standard we should imbibe in and cultivate if we want others to read our stores otherwise we might as well be talking to the hand or a brick-wall.

What do you guys think?

Meanwhile look at this example below

For example
I would prefer “Where you they go”? Instead of “ Where u dey go” – Which means Where are you going in standard English.

But "Standard English Spelling" isn't pidgin is it? Pidgin in pidgin. Therefore it's spelt the way it is wink
