Waldrum has been the best foreign coach we have had since Clemens. He was on point as far as tournament soccer is concerned. That is a defensively solid team, all down to sound tactics.

Australia in the semi's we beat. England in the finals couldn't get a result in regulation. That is quality coaching.

Baring our inability to hire quality head honchos he should be given the role of gaffer to the Super Eagles as well

No matter how good any of the Nigerian National teams are, no foreign coach will ever, and I repeat, no foreign coach will ever lead Nigeria to International glory because of the current hot-wire politics in world football ⚽.

The players will give their very best within the technical limits deliberately set by these foreign coaches to please the Nigeria populace and it will always end trophyless.
