US church to honour Iyaloja-General


The Light of the World Mission Church in Texas, United States, will on September 10, present an award to the Iyaloja-General of Lagos, Chief Folashade Tinubu-Ojo.
Its Senior Pastor, Femi Kajogbola, made this known in a statement on this year’s edition of the annual award programme.

Kajogbola said the award is given to unsung Nigerians whose contribution to society is not widely recognised and the church uses its platform to celebrate such individuals.

He said the award would attract eminent personalities including Mayor of Arlington, Texas Jim Ross.
Kajogbola said: “The award is a result of Iyaloja’s dedication to God and prayers during her father’s journey in becoming Nigeria president. We also recognise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts in bringing the citizenry together across ethnic, religious, regional and political divides.
