It is stupid to think that if the US fully backs ECOWAS and support them with weapons Niger even with the support of Russia or any other countries would survive in a one weak war.

In war, there's a very big difference between attacking and defending. Defending is the most difficult part of war. But look at Ukraine where the West is backing in defence, see how much the war has cost Russia. You can't compare a precision weapon with a random weapon and that's the kind of weapon the US produces in millions and it's super expensive to build and wield it.

America spent trillions of dollar human and equipment in Afghanistan, 20 years of efforts just to replace one taliban with another taliban, it took these rag tag talibans just 24 hours to over run the govt backed by the United stars

US got the intelligence that Russia will be invading Ukraine using the phrase "special operation" to eradicate the Nazis government from Ukraine and would make reference to US's special operation in Afghanistan should the US try to stop them. Again, don't compare Africa to Europe, Asia or other parts of the world with sophisticated weapons to detect, track, do and undo, etc. It was a drone that fired the convoy of Gaddafi.
