Wizkid, the well-known Nigerian artist, lost his mother in a tragic sequence of events.

Both the entertainment business and fans are in a state of sadness. Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and performer, lost his mother early this morning, Friday, August 18, 2023 by 1:30 pm according to reports from a close friend of the musician.

Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, who frequently cheered on her son from the sidelines during performances and events, was a pillar of support for his burgeoning career.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, has not yet released a remark about the defeat.

She wasn't just there as a mother, but also as a sign of her constant support for her son's musical endeavors.
