My point is that ammunitions were supplied on both side, unlike your claim about the Federal Military Gov of Gowon was the only administration getting ammunitions from Britain/Russia.

If France had not been supplying the Biafrians with ammunitions, the war would have ended quickly.

It was a coup based on ethnicity not political region.

Afterall, there are many ethnicity in the Niger delta: Benin, Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Urhobo e.t.c.

if Ijaws had been the majority of the coup plotters, and Ijaw leaders spared, and Ijaw man being the one that becomes head of government after the success of the coup, people would have tagged it an Ijaw coup and not a Niger Delta coup because the Niger Delta is heterogeneous.
