Gov. Umar Bago of Niger State has approved the assignment of portfolios to newly sworn in commissioners in the state.
The swearing in took place in Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre Minna, Niger State.
The approval of portfolios was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government of the State Alhaji Usman Abubakar

1. Aminu Suleiman Takuma - Industries, Trade and Investment.
2. Umar Yabagi - Science and Technology.
3. Phalal Muhammad Bako - Rural Development
4. Hadiza Idris Kuta - Transport
5. Musa Bawa Bosso - Agriculture
6. Yakubu M. Kolo - Environment and Climate Change
7. Dr. Hadiza Asabe Muhammad - Basic and Secondary Education
8. Bashir Muhammad Lokogoma - Power and Renewable Energy
9.Dr. Bello Tukur - Secondary and Tertiary Education
10. Dr Ibrahim Dangana - Primary Health Care
11. Gen. Garba Abdullahi Muhammad Rtd - Homeland Security

The Governor and Other Stakeholder in the State enjoined the new Commissioners to be diligent in discharging their duties and Fear God in all they do.
