The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts discuss who they will pick as their second forward from Manchester City's Julian Alvarez (£6.6m) or Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson (£7.0m).

I still haven't made up my mind between Jackson and Alvarez but as things stand, I am leaning towards Alvarez. Despite not getting returns, he has looked lively.

My only worry is that this Chelsea team might not have many goals, but I'm not confident about Alvarez's minutes.

The Alvarez and Phil Foden (£7.6m) set-up worked perfectly for Pep Guardiola against Newcastle United. With Kevin De Bruyne (£10.3m) out of action, I can see Guardiola turning to these two more often, in that middle-of-the-park axis.

Foden's in there with a mass of different midfield options in FPL, but Alvarez as a £6.6m forward is definitely in my thoughts.

Unless Chelsea sign a new forward, Jackson looks like a better pick than rotation risk Alvarez. Although both have great fixtures ahead, Alvarez plays deeper and could be less involved in the final third.
