Anytime I remember my visit to the dialysis room it's either to do a femoral cannulation or to apply pressure to a bleeder from an inadvertent removal of a femoral catheter the sight is like a fountain.. remember applying pressure for about an hour as an house officer that year..anytime we receive consult say a patient no dey make urine sleepless night begins. Our regular work up before dialysis...Serology and eucr..dat e u cr na daily something..we correct hyperkalaemia like no man's business. Calcium gluconate...50 percent dextrose...insulin.
