Abia is North to Rivers State.
Pipelines for crude oil export don't run from Rivers to Abia, they run from Abia to Rivers.
The connection in place siphons crude oil from Abia to Rivers for onwards transportation to the Atlantic ocean for exports.
So the crude oil in this instance couldn't have come from outside Abia as that wouldn't make sense.

By the way, Owaza oil Fields in Abia is the oldest in Nigeria after after Oloibiri as it was discovered in 1957 just a year after Oloibiri,but Oloibiri has ran out of crude oil since a decade ago while Owaza fields is still going strong.
