Foolish set of criminals will surely find a way to justify their illegalities. See them saying all sorts of things like "We thought SE land is barren" The thing is every states in Nigeria is blessed with resources and our government fail to explore these resources. There's no justification for crime. Instead of them to wail about this discovery of illegal crude mining which has no positive effect on their miserable lives, they're here defending their leaders and directing the insults to Nigeria. They can't hold their various state governments accountable but they're quick to lambast the FG Hypocrites everywhere!!! 1 Like |

Discover how to manufacture products. Look away from oil. Venezuela 🇻🇪 is an example of abject poverty in the midst of crude oil. |

tribalmall: If you say ronu people, you're technically referring to the oduduwas. I'm a Yoruba man and FG is just chasing shadows because they ought to declare all the gold mines in the core north as assets and share the gains among the 37 states. This also include the gold mines in Oyo, Osun and the lead mines in Ebonyi. |

ComptonGee: It's not oil exploration. They connected to the national oil pipeline. They were siphoning the oil passing through the pipeline connection. It happens in many states in the country...most of those pipelines are not being monitored. |

Anyways if Governments aren’t having other agenda they should grant each region and states access to manage their resources and remit to the federal government imagine those in Zamfara state mining their gold and transporting it with private jet inside bush to their sellers abroad who come be fool? South south and south east wake up and claim your rights to manage the resources there’s nothing like one Nigeria here that word is a deceitful word |

There are actually substantial hydrocarbon deposits in Abia, Imo and Anambra and there are oil companies that have been operating in these states for decades(with the exception of Anambra that operations just started in a very few years ago). Waltersmith, Agip, NPDC and Shell all operate in Imo state, TOTAL and Shell operate in Abia while Orient petroleum is in Anambra. Where the narrative came from of the south east not having oil and gas is what I don't know. 1 Like |
