Awka being a city along the Enugu/Onitsha express many travellers and visitors believe that the city is just the ones they see on their journey not knowing that Awka has expanded to many towns like Amawbia, Okpuno, Isiagu, Isuanocha, Nibo, Enugu-Agidi, Enugu-Ukwu etc, they also have this impression that Enugu/Onitsha express road is just the only dual carriage road in Awka, it has been argued by many here on Nairaland and other forums, currently Awka have seven dual-carriage roads, it suppose to be eight the Three-arm zone road to Isiagu which hasn't been completed, watch aerial view of seven dual-carriage roads in Awka Anambra state capital.

Average road with wider coverage is better than standard road in few places around city center

Owerri is a glorified rural area compare to Awka. I know the pictures of the beautiful city of Awka shocked you, I understand your frustration, envy and bitterness, no wonder most imo indigenes prefer to live in Onitsha and Awka than your backward useless worthless shithole Owerri lol
