Subsidy has gone, CBN devalued naira by closing huge gap between black market rate and official bank rate. Subsidy removal, naira devaluation as increases inflation rate, cost of living is getting out of hand, salary earner are crying, entrepreneurs are not finding it easy. Black market rate going up everyday, getting close to #950 to $1. Fuel increase have a negative impact on the economic both traders and transporters adjust price of their commodities as soon as possible.
Petroleum marketers are planing another fuel increment due to increase in black market rate, no any assurances that black market rate will fall for naira to be stronger from now till December.

My suggestion to the solution is for CBN to surport petroleum importers with forex at official bank rate with strict supervision. The importers will generate invoice for payment of the product before CBN will credit the account. Tracking number of the vessel must be made available to CBN monitoring unit for tracking and confirmation of the product if the quantity of litters tally with the amount on the invoice, with that fuel price will reduce and stable for longer period of time.
