Last year, Governor @jidesanwoolu performed the Ground Breaking Ceremony of Lagos State Central Food Security Systems & Logistics Hub, at Ketu-Ereyun, Epe.

This hub will be the largest of its kind in Sub-Sahara Africa, which is aimed at regulating the production, storage, food preservation, distribution in addition to stabilizing market prices and reduced wastage towards the promotion of food security in the state.

This laudable project is ONGOING.

This is indeed remarkable by the state government to cushion the effect on the rising cost of food items in the market. It marvels me how Lagos invest more on agriculture with its scarce land area. E.g the imota rice mill and the lake rice partnered with kebbi state.

These are the kinds of progressive idea State Governors should draft and implement. We produce too little to allow Food wastage.
Majority of the Nigerian Farming community is made up of peasant Farmers yet, a significant percentage of their little Agricultural produce still goes to waste, isn't this saddening?
