3. Will the Nigeriens benefit anything meaningful from the Western world?

Surprisingly, when you replace the Western world with the coup potters, the answers become yes.
If you are restoring democracies and the democracy is not benefitting the people, why not leave them with what they feel works for them. You want to enslave them for life.
