In all military form of government is still not the best form of government. In a short while, the military boys will start looting and all form of human rights abuses will start taking place.

Say no to military government.
What's the difference? A journalist was "disappeared" in Kd and till today no one knows where he is.
Shiites were murdered in cold blood in Kaduna and instead of justice, their leader was arrested and the man who masterminded it is now an ambassador. Someone wrote something a former first lady didn't like and he got kidnapped and driven all the way to aso rock for a thorough beating before being locked up.
What's the difference?

All the good things in Nigeria happened in the military era. We really thought democracy will do better. But Buhari took Nigeria way back. Our judiciary and legislature is messed up. Those are the institutions that's supposed to make the executive focused.

Even in our current democracy, you see some soldiers disregarding the law, flogging people and intimidating them up and down. They don't even accord any respect to other security forces.

Now some are wishing they totally let them out of the barracks into our government offices and the streets.

I wish the Gabonese well. Sad that they are being forced to choose between an entrenched civilian family rule and military governance.

The woke mob calling for a military coup in Nigeria don't realize they are calling for a total surrender of the freedom of expression they are abusing currently.

Shut up your smelling mouth....are they living well under your so call civilian rule. If the leaders are doing well, will the citizens be celebrating the coup, it goes to show that they are very corrupt and has contributed to the sufferings and poverty the country.
Nigeria will be next and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it...we are waiting for the pept judgement

A civilian typist was executed in the 1990 Gideon Orkar coup for not reporting the plot. Other civilians died too.

The stupid boy Taylor92 is too unintelligent to understand....

Is Tinubu responsible for his generational poverty? Is Tinubu the one responsible for him fighting for first to comment on every single thread just to spill rubbish? Or create Taylor88,89, till 92?

His ancestors probably were just as useless.

The good news is Nairaland have just removed his thoughtless comment and everything and anything pertaining to the comment.

Well done Nairaland.

To those of you from a particular tribe calling for coup because your candidate lost election, I'm sure you know that even if the military takes over in Nigeria, you tribe will still be sidelined, worse off for it and be at the receiving end. Whichever way, democracy or military you guys will never lead this country if you continue in this your ways of madness

Just have that at the back of your minds.

I have not mentioned any name or tribe but you know yourselves. We also know you!

They're the presidential strike force. The elite soldiers hand-picked to guard the presidential family. They live within short radius in the villa with him, that's why it's easy for them to operate efficiently before any external forces arrive.
They are the first to report to the scene if anything happens in the presidential villa, hereby condoning any external breach that does not work in their favor.

Thanks for the enlightenment sir. I really appreciate 🙏

Why are citizens jubilating over these coups? It is because the politicians have failed them and democracy is not working in Africa

For wia. It is the people that have failed themselves. Was the 61 percent vote the ousted president got for a THIRD TERM from ghosts or ghouls.

Was it not 'WE THE PEOPLE' that have been supporting the Bongo monarchy for what amounts to a lifetime 'on the throne'.
