Why Is It Possible For Two Filling Stations To Sell Fuel At Different Prices? by ozorku: 6:52pm On Sep 02, 2023
I was taking a walk some days ago and saw a filling station selling at NGN580/ltr, further down the road I saw another selling at NGN620/ltr. I'd like to understand why this is possible. I understand that it is now a free market and cost of fuel is determined by multiple elements like demand & supply, exchange rate, crude oil price etc.

But if this is the case, isn't fuel price suppose to be the same everywhere or at least with just a little difference?

They might get from different suppliers... The only constant price is NNPC.... Even that sef, I'm sure not all NNPC round the country sells equal price
