About a week ago I started getting this message on my phone "Google Play services keeps stopping".

I did not do any upgrades or downloads before it started.

It's preventing me from reading my text messages and from using other apps.

Please I need suggestions on how to resolve this issue

Maybe your phone memory is almost full, or you need to update the Google play services on your phone

The phone memory is not full.

I tried to update Google play but was unable to do it
