This project began with the previous governor and completed in the present governors tenure. It's a master plan but still they all tried and this should replicated in Abuja .

This should be an opportunity for Nigerians to create more companies specialised in maintenance.
We should learn to turn problems into business opportunities.

hmm....we are not yet a service based economy....
the potencial is their....but many are not aware of that yet....

many are too busy to get rich quick....

Some of us are not even the same tribe as Tinubu, but na things like this make say let us give him a chance. If he is still as good as he was then, then we can trust him to do more since he must have gather more experience between now and then.

We are talking track record, continuity and progress. Credit for this project has to go to Fashola, Sanwo Olu maybe Ambode also. I hesistate for Ambode because it is believe that he did not pay attention to the rail project

Now you tell me if you as a person will not be happy if your state was the one that has this kind of infrastructure? You have to be a real demon to hate on a project like this.

Some people are now having had on because a megger city of 20m people opened one line of light rail after 8 years of construction. This is of course a good progress but one line of train for 20m people does not take away the fact that Lagos is a glorified slum. I have travelled wide and far and i know it is, when compared to other big cities, even within Africa. A lot can still be done to improve this city. And it is idiotic to insult the good people of SE because Lagos opened the blue line.

Let's keep hope alive!
•Let's keep the wake up call on Our Politicians - from Federal, the State and Local Govt to their toes,to be responsible to their duties,e g.by drawing their attention to some things that are wrong, not necessarily complaint but look for solutions!
•Let's ask our Ministers ,the National Assembly ( Senators and House of Reps and the State Assembly )too.
•What are their immediate plans for the Masses?
I. - for Short terms Plans.
ii-Medium Terms and

Something slaves detest..

Questions and critical thinking ..

How much did the thieving governors spend on this 20km project

What was used for 1000km project on a more sophisticated line in advanced countries..

In Canada and America... these things run alongside cars on the same road .. but thieves had to construct this mediocre thing and package it to slaves like you at 1000* the normal cost and you all are jubilating... by this time next year.. na Oluomo boys go de run the show... and your suffering continues

We de watch

Yorubas are far more ahead in terms of education, civility, development, foresight and Human Resources, but their tribalism no Dey here, Igbos are Good at commerce and industriousness but the gap is still big, while others are placing themselves at better positions, Igbos are busy seeking for the release of MNK their terrorist freedom fighter setting them back in the competitive field

You don't have sense walahi

You've been peddling your hateful and bitter rubbish since 1960 while other people progress and develop while you are still at square one and at the bottom of everything in Nigeria .

Sad and pathetic, other people are celebrating metro rail while backward villagers are celebrating gutter.

Losers.

This one is not a sensible argument, stop being stupid. A project that took more than 10 years a project that was awarded the same time with Ethiopian light rail. and the Ethiopian light rail is more challenging in terrain than Lagos routes, but this project took more than 10years. Try and be sensible and stop being a nuisance abeg.

yes....
it depends what you understand under developed....

for african standards its developed when you consider how african nations started with nothing....

i dont see a failed continent....
to me its a continent tryin to catch up with nations that have been developin for centuries....

But Singapore was far below Nigeria in the 60s if you want to talk about starting with nothing.
