Why not do it after or before?” The critique didn’t stop there; he further insinuated that the timing, coinciding with such a significant event, was beyond mere coincidence.

The NLC, under its current leadership, has been known to be politically active. Omokri was quick to highlight that the NLC President had openly shown support for Peter Obi during the elections, which brings about questions on the real motive behind the strike’s timing. “There are 365 days in a year. This timing is just too convenient for comfort,” Omokri added.

The forthcoming PEPT verdict scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 2023, has generated a lot of attention, debates, and speculations among Nigerians. Omokri’s tweet further emphasized the need for a transparent judicial process without external interference.
