Please how is car import duty calculated? Is it based on car value or it is flat rate? Could you let me know how much it is to clear Hyundai Tucson 2013 model and Kia Soul 2012 model? Thanks

its calculated with 35% and have each surface duty for a particular vehicle

Thanks. Is duties charged as flat rates or as a percentage of the value of the car? I feel 1.6M and 1.4M are on the high side for clearing these cars.

duty is charge with flat rates by the giving rate of the federal republic of Nigeria/customs to be paid

The CIF Value for Lexus RX 350 2010 is likely to be $3,720
So the calculation for clearing the Lexus RX 350 2010 will be (3720) X (361) X (0.35) X (1.38) + (N250,000) = N898,630.36

The CIF Value for Toyota Corolla 2010 is likely to be $2,375
So the calculation for clearing the Toyota Corolla 2010 will be (2375) X (361) X (0.35) X (1.38) + (N250,000) = N644,112.13

Hello Sir, based on the valuation i have here for a Toyota Camry 2018 model, N3m will clear it with the following calculations
($15,778) X (361) X (0.35) X (1.38) + (N250,000) = N3,001,099.41 Total clearing cost excluding demourage if any
