It is no longer news that the US president, President Joe Biden took a photograph with the Nigerian-American leader of World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. It is interesting to see such photo taken in a happy mood. However, some comments by Nigerians over the Internet on the photo may not be too pleasing. For example, some would write that the US president was turned to a photographer by Okonjo-Iwala. It is alright to feel proud that Okonjo-Iweala attracted/approached the 46th US President to take selfie with her.

One thing some Nigerian online users may not be aware of, is that at this digital age, where smartphones with camera features are readily available, anyone can be politely asked to take you a photo, especially in a public domain. That does not make the other person a photographer, or belittles him/her. Moreover, there are people who enjoy taking photos, and can even ask if they can take you photo with 'your' phone camera, when they see you are struggling to take a nice shot or you want a copy from a group photo.

What if that phone Biden used was for Okonjo-Iweala?
What if Biden would get better view from a selfie than when Okonjo-Iweala takes same?
What if Biden likes taking selfie, even with other people's phones?

A look over G20 meeting and at other events showed Biden taking selfies with people.
It is good he took selfie with a Nigerian-American DG, Okonjo-Iweala, but Nigerians should not make so much fuss from it. And they may also wish not to compare the photos with the Nigerian President at the G20 meeting.
