The Tribunal sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State, has nullified the victory of Labour Party (LP) Lawmaker, Thaddeus Attah, as the Representative of the Eti Osa Federal Constituency of Lagos State. The court order, issued on Monday, September 11, mandates the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a supplementary election in the 32 polling units of Eti-Osa within 90 days. In response to this ruling, Nigerian singer turned politician, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, who contested the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed optimism by posting on his social media account, "It is possible. A PDP Candidate for lagos Central district discover that his party logo was missing on ballot paper on election day and instituted a case against the injustice at the tribunal but the presiding judge rule that it is a pre election matter  . My question now is how did the judge expect the candidate to know that his party logo will not be on ballot paper on election day before the election? That LP Candidate won that election but because the speaker of lagos state doesnt want any opposition candidate to be in the house of assembly with them or opposition candidate to represent lagos in abuja that was the reason why they want to remove the guy by fire by force with the help of judges. |

How will opposition win in lagos when it is hand that they are using to right results and any opposition mistakingly won in lagos they will use their paid judges to remove the person by fire by force. If half of what we nigerians are facing in the hands of INEC and JUDICIARY happen in other civilized country the citizen would have occupy everywhere. |

Yoruba using Federal Might to remove this man ...this is proof our Judiciary take orders from above ..if U voted in Eti Osa you will know this guy won free and square that day despite voter intimidation by APC hirelings...I voted ur former party man Obanikoro that day but LP had the organic movt ..This man victory can be described as luck but it was still fair and square ... Unfortunately he just distributed over 15 transformers to various Eti Osa communities some days ago .... The guy can't speak Yoruba how can he represent Yoruba people in their homeland and the national house of assembly . The guy already has his brother from his state of origin in the national assembly but he is fighting other tribes he migrated to for business purposes in their homeland for scarce political position. LP win was a one off mistake never to happen again. |
