The concept of Trauma bonding Is when outsiders clone themselves into your reality, creates a false sense of brotherhood and then use the propaganda to reposition themselves as they checkmate you.


PRE-INDEPENDENCE.
Sons of Zik have tried many times and failed in using this propaganda since the 1940’s
Zik tried to use the fight for independence to position himself and his people to be the new overlords for Nigeria and the starting point was Yorubaland when he desperately wanted to be its first premier.

JAN 1999 COUP.
January 1966 coup. A group of Igbo soldiers who grew worried with Akintola’s new friendship with Ahmadu Belo as both regions formed a new NNA party with agreements of rotation of power between North and west claimed the reason for the coup was out of sympathy for Awolowo. Used this to deceive Ademoyega who was pressured to bring in another Yoruba man, Captain Ganiyu Adeleke. They needed combat soldiers under the command of Adeleke.

Adeleke was reluctant to join. They painted it as a sacrifice for mother country. They lied to the Yoruba people that the plan was to release Awolowo and make him president. Even lied that the coup was the stop a brewing Jidah that was to start Jan 27, 1996.
But as the coup was going on, they cleverly sent Igbo officers to go murder soldiers and politicians from the North, middle belt and Yorubaland. While they sent their kinsmen to go protect their brothers. Ironsi and Okpara were spared from death.

The revolutionary spirit with which the barbarians murdered the Prime Minister, Tafewa Balewa, the Sadaurna and his wife, Ademulegun and his 8 months pregnant wife, Akintola, Maimlari, Largema and Festus Okotie Eboh. it lost steam with Ironsi and Michael Okpara. The sons of Zik used trauma bonding to wipe out everyone standing in their way and cleared the path for their kinsman to take over power. They claimed the coup was unsuccessful, that Ironsi stopped it.

CIVIL WAR.
Ojukwu, same man who voted in support for the unification decree all of a sudden determined to bring down the country if it did not reverse to a confederation. He sought friendship with Yoruba people, pressured the sage to come to his side so they could fight the North as a southern block. But while he was playing a false trauma bond, he was planning to invade Yorubaland from Ore, annex it into a block under his control. Impose Victor Banjo as a puppet ruler and declare Lagos as a neutral estate under his control. He even attacked the Great Benin.

ENDSARS.
While youths were on the streets protesting against police brutality, the garrulus albino supreme leader of IPOB, cloned himself into the movement and tried to hijack its momentum to seek revenge with the Lagos politicians who checkmated GEJ for sidelining the Yoruba political block that helped him to power. They nearly burnt down Lagos.

OBINGO MOVEMENT.
Obingo movement fabricated as the voice of the youths and face of endsars…. with the help of the wannabe Hijab wearing revolutionary who paid a photographer to take her pictures on the protest grounds and created an illusion as the face of the struggle.

While the trauma bonding was going on. Sons of Zik were busy planning how to disgrace Yoruba people in LP and use the platform to politically capture strategic places in Yorubaland with the slogan, "LP from top to bottom’". They packaged a trojan horse named Chinedu Rhodes Vivor to politically capture Lagos for sons of Zik. They fabricated a Yoruba contender called Abiola in Anambra and used that as an excuse to front their kinsmen for office in Yorubaland. This was the point where many hardcore nationalists stepped back and took notice.

An ignorant Yoruba citizen who thinks he is one with a son of Zik has fallen victim of trauma bonding. The nonsense talks that ethnic consciousness does not change the price of fuel and bread is a dangerous rhetoric. The most important legacy for anyone of Yoruba ancestry is for Yorubaland to remain in the control of Yoruba people.

Well, the Yoruba seems to be waking up from what we are now seeing in Lagos (communicating using Yoruba in the metrorail, making Yoruba language compulsory in LASU amongst others). It remains we the Edo to wake up.
