Reasonable people should encourage the government to set in motion plans to restructure our polity, instead of fanning the embers of an ethnically-driven power grab. The winner-takes-it-all approach is a recipe for disaster as any good student of our nation's history should know.

Moving forward, what Nigeria needs is a weaker centre in the spirit of true federalism - and Tinubu more than anyone else knows this based on his antecedents.

Olusegun Aganga, Adeshina, and the current Arise anchor man, among several other yorubas played key roles in Jonathan's government. But you guys are never satisfied except you're giving everything. Now, Tinubu is doing that and you guys are happy.
