Igbos are the most difficult people to lead/manage.
I guarantee you that even if Nnamdi Kanu becomes their governor, they will still frustrate him till he can't perform.

A whole Charles Soludo and Alex Otti who are perhaps the most cerebral Igbos of this generation are presently incumbents in Anambra and Abia respectively, yet their citizens do not value them.
